1. Mr. Putnam seems to be encouraging Reverend Parris to admit that "unnatural" things are going on in his house. What do you think about his motives? Are they honest or does he have a hidden agenda? Think about the movie that we watched and what they said about Mr. Putnam and his revenge tactics during the witch trials.
2. While Parris' daughter is laying on what he believes may be her death bed, he expresses great concern for his position in the church. What do you think about Parris' priorities when it comes to his daughter and his position within the Salem village?
